The Vownvintage Stone & Custom Experience

At Vownvintage, every stone and custom piece is thoughtfully sourced and designed with intention. Here’s how the process works:

Step 1: Submit Your Request

Complete the Stone or Customization Request Form on our homepage. Within 24 hours, we will personally review your details and follow up.

A $50 consultation fee is required for all diamond, gemstone, and moissanite sourcing requests, and custom design requests. This fee is fully credited toward your final purchase if you move forward. If you choose not to proceed after the options below have been provided to you, the consultation fee is non-refundable.

This allows us to dedicate focused time to:
• Source exceptional options
• Provide accurate, up-to-date pricing
• Offer professional guidance tailored specifically to you

Once details are confirmed, you’ll receive different payment options for you to complete the consultation fee payment. After payment is received, we will schedule your consultation, either in person (for local clients) or virtually. At this point a phone number will be provided so we can have more direct communication either via phone call or text. 

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, you can do this by sending us a message via the Contact tab. Missed consultations without notice will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.

Diamond, Gemstone & Moissanite Sourcing

Each consultation includes sourcing up to 5 curated stone options for you to review, along with all the details and pricing that are selected specifically for your criteria.

• Stones are secured and purchased only after full payment is received (we do not have stones in our inventory with the exception of those listed as ready to ship items in the “shop all” or “Loose stones” section of our website.
• Standard U.S. shipping is included
• Express overnight shipping (business days) is available for an additional fee
• Average turnaround time: 10–15 business days

Custom Engagement Rings & Jewelry

Designing a custom piece is a collaborative and exciting process.

• Typical timeline: 3–6 weeks from concept to delivery
• A detailed quote will be provided
• Quotes are valid for 48 hours due to fluctuating metal and stone markets
• 50% payment of the total purchase price is required before production begins, the remaining balance will be due when you are notified that your piece is complete and it is ready to be shipped, items will not be shipped until the remaining balance is paid in full. 
• Design revisions of your design are allowed, however; revisions after approval of the design may result in additional delays in production time and added costs. 

Because each custom piece is uniquely created for you, all custom orders are final sale.

If there are any concerns, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can promptly work with the jeweler to make it right. 

Vownvintage Guarantee

Every Vownvintage piece is carefully inspected before delivery to ensure it meets our quality standards.

We proudly offer a Limited 6-Month Craftsmanship Guarantee on custom jewelry purchased directly from Vownvintage. This guarantee covers manufacturing defects related to craftsmanship, including issues with construction, setting, or soldering that occur under normal wear.

All claims require proof of purchase and are subject to inspection by Vownvintage. We will evaluate each piece to determine whether the issue is due to a craftsmanship defect or a result of wear, accidental damage, improper care, or other non-covered causes. If approved, covered repairs will be completed at no cost. If the issue is not covered, repair options and costs will be provided before any work is performed.

This guarantee does not cover loss, theft, accidental damage, impact damage, normal wear and tear, scratches, dents, bent prongs, lost stones due to damage or improper wear, chemical exposure, improper use, or repairs, resizing, or alterations performed by another jeweler. Damage caused by activities that place excessive stress on jewelry, such as heavy lifting, sports, or manual labor, is also not covered.

The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Jewelry containing customer-supplied stones may have additional limitations, as Vownvintage cannot guarantee the condition or durability of stones provided by the customer.

To protect your investment, we recommend professional inspections and cleanings every 6 to 12 months. Regular maintenance, including prong checks, helps preserve the beauty and longevity of your jewelry.

We also highly recommend independent jewelry insurance to protect your piece against loss, theft, or accidental damage.
